Northeast Utilities Announces Johnny D. Magwood as Chief Customer Officer
BERLIN, Conn., March 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Northeast Utilities today announced that Johnny D. Magwood will join the company as its first chief customer officer, effective April 7, and will report to Lee Olivier, executive vice president — Operations.(Logo: )Magwood, 58, has over 35 years experience in the utility industry, with extensive background in developing strategic approaches to customer service, as well as building and leading customer relations operations most recently as senior vice president, customer relations and account services division at Baltimore Gas & Electric Company.”This new chief customer officer is critical to the integration of the customer’s viewpoint across our entire organization,” said Charles W. Over his 37 year career at the company he served in positions of increasing responsibility with significant customer- focused roles, first in the operations area and then in leadership within the customer service division beginning as vice president in 2002.Magwood holds a Master in Business Administration from Loyola College in Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The John Hopkins University.
